What an absolutely magical evening and a fantastic cause. ‘An evening of discovery’ hosted by the magnificent ‘Hotel Le Beuvallon’ in St Tropez, the ‘Kaleidoscopic Cocktail’ attire was absolutely perfect. Rarely do we see ourselves and others dressed in such bright happy colours. The charity event was held to ‘explore new frontiers in mental health and the science of Psychedelics’, with over 500 international attendees, including celebrity guests, award winners and supporters.
It was an absolute pleasure to watch Robbie Williams announcing the creation of a global concert series, in association with AURORA, to raise funds and destigmatize mental health. Queen Latifah, looking wonderful mingling with the crowds, the Mentalist Lior Suchard, performing his mind blowing magic tricks left us in awe. Athlete Kevin Love, Olympian and NBA All-Star; Giannis Antetokounmpo said some inspirational words that gave us something to think about. It was also quite an honour to be in the company of the “first cyborg” Nathan Copeland. When not being mesmerized by speeches and performances we sat on the perfect lawn admiring the fabulous art installations by Refik Anadol. As the night came to a spectacular end we danced along and watched the unforgettable performance by Kool & The Gang, Tinie Tempah, BLOND:ISH to name but a few.
A fantastic event which raised over USD 8 million which will be directed to charities focusing on the new science of mental health, mindful meditation, understanding the science behind psychedelics, and exploring the integration of the metaverse and virtual reality in mental health interventions.
Aurora, we will be back next year. Cannot wait to see which amazing city will be chosen to host this wonderful event and what magical surprises awaits us.
Love who you are
